The petitioner is aggrieved that he was declared unfit due to Beckers Nevus by the Medical Board/Review Medical Board for being considered in the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces. The petitioner contends that this is a birth mark and relies on a document issued by the R. G. Kar Medical College & Hospital which reflects that this will not hamper his duty.

Learned counsel for the respondent authorities are present.

Having regard to the contention so advanced, I direct the respondent authorities to conduct a further medical test in the Eastern Command Hospital, Kolkata. The Doctor who would be conducting the medical test would take into account the observations made by the concerned Skin, O.P.D., R. G. Kar Medical College &

Hospital. The authorities would thereafter, if required, take into account the subject matter of the medical opinion and, if possible, consider the petitioner in the ongoing recruitment process.

With the aforesaid observations, W.P.A. 23255 of 2022 is disposed of.
