None appears for the Panchayat despite service. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are contractors who participated in a series of tender process undertaken by Hamidpur Gram Panchayat. The petitioners' bid was initially accepted by the authority but subsequently cancelled.

The petitioners allege irregularities in the tender process. They submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authorities on 11th September, 2025 which is yet to be considered. The petitioners seek consideration of the same. Learned counsel for the State submits that the concerned authority be directed to consider the representation in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the Block Development Officer, Kaliachak - II, being the 4th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 11th September, 2025 within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. The writ petition is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
