This is a writ petition wherein the petitioner seeks a separate electricity connection.

On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection in providing a separate electricity connection to the petitioner subject to compliance with all formalities and after payment of all prescribed fees.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of WBSEDCL, WPA 23694 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to provide the above electricity connection to the petitioner in accordance with law.

Liberty is granted to WBSEDCL to seek police assistance, if the circumstances so warrant. The cost for such police assistance would be exclusively borne by the petitioner. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
