Mr. Amitabha Ghosh ....for the petitioner Mr. Arijit Ganguly Mr. Bivosan Bhattacharya ....for the State Supplementary affidavit as filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Mr. Arijit Ganguly with Bivosan Bhattacharya, who ordinarily appear on behalf of the State, are requested to represent the State in this case. Their engagement may be regularized in due course. Copy of the revision petition and supplementary affidavit are handed over in Court.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an accused in this case. An FIR was registered on 28.04.2016. A charge sheet was submitted on 09.08.2016. Yet, till date the proceeding could not concluded. In fact, not a single witness out of seven has been examined in this case till date. The proceeding has remained pending for no fault of the present petitioner.

In view of the above, the trial court is requested to expedite the proceeding and conclude the same in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of.
