Petitioner prays for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 412 days.

Another co-accused was enlarged in anticipatory bail by the coordinate Bench on June 8, 2022 passed in CRM (DB) 2405 of 2022.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that no recovery was made from the co-accused who was enlarged on anticipatory bail. So far as the petitioner is concerned fake currencies were recovered from his possession. Counterfeit currency notes were seized from the possession of the petitioner. There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail being CRM (DB) 3622 of 2022, is thus rejected.
