The Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Calcutta who is in seisin of Misc. Case No. 14 of 2019 is directed to allow the learned advocate for the petitioner to participate in the proceedings on behalf of the present petitioner, namely Bappaditya Karmakar. It has been submitted that earlier the learned advocate namely, Debraj Mallick engaged by the D. L. S. A was prevented by the learned forum from participating in the proceedings. In view of the settled proposition of law that a litigant is entitled to have a lawyer of his choice for the best possible legal advice and the petitioner has approached the Legal Services Authorities seeking their assistance, I am of the opinion that the learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Calcutta would allow the learned advocate, namely Debraj Mallick to participate in the proceedings.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional

application being CRR 3798 of 2023 along with the connected application is disposed of.
