None appears for the private respondents despite service.

The petitioner lodged a complaint against the members of her matrimonial family before the police authority and was aggrieved by the fact that the police authority did not take any steps pursuant thereto. Learned counsel for the petitioner candidly submits that the police authority has registered FIR and initiated investigation.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present application and the same is accordingly disposed of.

The police authority shall take the investigation to its logical conclusion and shall take necessary steps for providing security and protection to the petitioner since the petitioner submits that despite the case being initiated, the private respondents are continuing to threaten her.

Since no affidavit is called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

There shall be no order as to costs.
