Saha ... for the petitioner Mr. Sudip Ghosh Ms. Baisali Basu ... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits he is in custody for 290 days. He renews his prayer for bail. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Telephonic conversation between the petitioner and the co-accused corroborates the confessional statement of the co-accused and implicates the petitioner. Petitioner had motive to commit the crime. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier on merits.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
