A report has been submitted on behalf of the State.

The report reflects that pursuant to the complaint being filed New Barrackpore Police Station Case No. 176 of 2024 dated 29.06.2024 was registered for

investigation and the investigating authority on conclusion of investigation submitted charge-sheet.

So far as the act and actions of the police authorities are concerned, suitable steps have already been taken.

The rest of the issues relating to unauthorized constructions at the instance of the private respondents and/or fencing at the behest of the present petitioner is concerned, the same would be within the domain of the learned Civil Court to decide if there is any dispute amongst the petitioner and the private respondent(s).

This court, prima facie, do not find any fault in the act and actions of the police authorities.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional civil

court for appropriate remedies.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 23715 of 2024 is disposed of.
