This is an application for expeditious hearing of an eviction suit being Ejectment Suit No.31 of 2022 which is pending before the learned Judge, , XII Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta.

Record reveals that an application under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act. 1997 and an application under Order XXVI Rule 9 and an application under Order I Rule 10 of the Code of Civil Procedure are pending.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the next date is fixed for hearing of the aforesaid pending interlocutory applications on 19.01.2024.

In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned Advocate for the petitioners, CO 3385 of 2023 is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, XII Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to take up the

hearing of the pending interlocutory applications on the next date fixed, if the same are otherwise ready for hearing, and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible on or before the end of March, 2024 without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual formalities.
