1. We have seen the depositions of the witnesses examined so far. Prima facie, the eyewitnesses clearly implicate the petitioner.

We also see that January 30, 2025 is fixed as the date for examination of the last prosecution witness (Investigating Officer). Therefore, the trial is on the verge of conclusion.

Given the prima facie involvement of the petitioner and the fact that the trial is likely to conclude very soon and if convicted, the petitioner will have to suffer a mandatory life term, we are not inclined to allow this application for bail. 4.

The application for bail is, thus, dismissed. 5.

However, since the petitioner has been in custody for about two and a half years, we request the learned trial Court to conclude the trial as soon as possible without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. Signed By :
