Learned counsel for the petitioner hands over certain documents and submits that in the meantime the Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) has accepted the petitioner's bid and the petitioner has come out as the L1 bidder in the financial bid.

Hence, the cause of action of the present writ petition has lost relevance.

Accordingly, WPA No. 23004 of 2023 is disposed of as infructuous, keeping on record the communication handed over by learned counsel for the petitioner today.

There will be no order as to costs.
