Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Petitioner is the father of the 4th respondent and alleges that he is severely tortured and assaulted by his said son. The petitioner lodged several complaints before the police authority which were registered as FIR and charge sheets submitted upon completion of investigation. But unfortunately the torture and assault are still continuing for which the petitioner again lodged complaint before the police on September 08, 2025. No step has been taken by the police pursuant to the said FIR. Learned counsel for the State submits, on instruction, that the complaint shall be registered as FIR at the earliest.

In the meantime, the police authority is directed to keep strict vigil over the area and render adequate

protection and assistance to the petitioner so that no untoward incident occurs and there is no breach of peace and tranquility.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
