The Director, Directorate of Mass Education Extension, the respondent no. 2 herein has refused to absorb the petitioner as an existing staff of the said institution on the ground that his name was sent for such absorption prior to the sanction of sponsorship of the said institution.

It appears from the record that the Managing Committee of the institution in its resolution dated July 11, 2007, after taking note of the aforementioned refusal of the respondent no. 2, had adopted further resolution to recommend the name of the petitioner again for such absorption.

The petitioner is complaining that the managing committee took a subsequent resolution to the said

effect and has forwarded it to the concerned authority, but of no result till date.

The respondent no. 2 is directed to consider the pending prayer of the petitioner in accordance with law, if necessary, after giving him an opportunity of hearing as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 23007 of 2023 is disposed of without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have denied by the respondents.
