The petitioner seeks water connection. Application of the petitioner is pending consideration for a considerable period of time. The petitioner prays for consideration of the representation filed before the Mogra-I Gram Panchayat. None appears on behalf of the respondents.
Affidavit of service is taken on record.
As it appears that the application of the petitioner is pending consideration for a long time, accordingly, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending. The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondent no.2 to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with the scheme after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties. The reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the parties immediately thereafter. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 14th December, 2021 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
