Public Prosecutor Mr. Suman De ... ... for the State Heard the learned advocate appearing for both the parties. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses and other documents prima facie establish involvement of the petitioner in misappropriation of a large volume of cash i.e. over one crore. Petitioner was discharging duties of Treasurer-I in the post office at the time when the misappropriation occurred. In view of the aforesaid materials on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
