1. Instruction forwarded by the O.S.D & E.O Controller, Kolkata Thika Tenancy dated 21st November, 2024 is taken on record.

2. The petition filed by the petitioner before the Thika Controller, Kolkata on 9th July, 2024 is alleged not to be registered and no case number has also been inserted.

3. Learned advocate representing the Thika Controller submits, upon instruction that, certain inquiry was required to be conducted from the office of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation through the Regional Thika Office at Tangra for which a delay in numbering the petition took place.

4. Currently the case of the petitioner has been registered as Misc. Case No. 82 of 2024 and hearing has been scheduled on 3rd December, 2024 at 4.00 pm in the chamber of the O.S.D & E.O Controller, Kolkata Thika Tenancy. Notice of hearing has also been served upon all the interested parties including the petitioner. It will be open for the petitioner to attend the hearing before the O.S.D & E.O Controller, Kolkata Thika Tenancy at the scheduled date and time.

5. In view of the above the relief sought for by the petitioner has been allowed. The instant writ petition is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
