Mr. Nandi, learned advocate appearing for the applicant by placing before this Court a communication dated 13th May 2025 and the enclosures thereto, submits that the alleged contemnors have since made over two several cheques amounting to Rs.2,00,000/- and Rs.25,000/- dated 31st March 2025 and 12th May 2025 respectively in full and final settlement on account of interest on delayed payment of gratuity. Having regard thereto, he submits that the applicant does not wish to proceed with the instant contempt application. 2.

Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the applicant, since in the aforesaid contempt proceeding no rule has been issued, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping the instant contempt application pending.

In view thereof, and as prayed for the contempt proceeding is dropped and the application being CPAN 1560 of 2024 is accordingly dismissed.
