07.11.2022 sdas rejected C.R.M.(DB) No. 3674 of 2022 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Girish Park Police Station Case No. 188 of 2015 dated 01.06.2015 under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Alam Ali ..... petitioner Mr. S. Chowdhury Mr. D. Mitra Mr. S. Roy Mr. C. Singh ... for the petitioner Mr. Rudradipta Nandy, learned APP Ms. Manisha Sharma ... for the State We have considered the materials on record. It is contended there is no direct evidence connecting the petitioner with the murder.

Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier in December, 2022 This Court had directed the trial to be concluded at an early date preferably within one year from the date of rejection of bail, as aforesaid. Time for conclusion of trial so stipulated has not expired as yet.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to examine the bail prayer of the petitioner on merits. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
