From the score sheet of the petitioner as well as of the last recommended candidate for the relevant selection, it appears that the petitioner scored 44.53 marks while the score of the last recommended candidate was 62.49.

I find substance in the argument of the College Service Commission that even if the petitioner had been awarded the maximum of 5(five) marks for publications

in Peer Reviewed Journals/UGC Listed Journals, he would not have been recommended by the College Service Commission.

Accordingly, I find no ground of interference. WPA 21370 of 2019 is accordingly dismissed.

Let the score sheets of the petitioner and the last recommended candidate duly countersigned by the Chairman, College Service Commission be kept with the record.
