Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police complaint was lodged one year after the alleged incident. The petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the postmortem report of the victim. He submits that the petitioner made a confession in writing.

The postmortem report of the victim suggests that the death was ante mortem and homicidal in nature.

The investigations are yet to be concluded.

In such circumstances, it would be inappropriate to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 4987 of 2022, is rejected.
