Earlier on 10.12.2024 when the writ petition was called, none appeared for the petitioner. Today also when the writ petition has been called, none represents the petitioner.

No accommodation is sought for on behalf of petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

State has already submitted a report in the form of affidavit.

It has been pointed out by the learned advocate appearing for the State that the dispute is between the father-in-law and son-in-law. There is a case also under Sections 498A read with Sections 3/4 of D.P. Act.

So far as the accusation of the petitioner that he could not enter his residence is concerned, police report reflects that petitioner stays at his residence. Police authorities on enquiry also could not find that the allegation made by the petitioner has any substance and for cancelling the gifted

land registered, several complaints are being made to the police authorities.

Be that as it may, in view of the aforesaid, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 23901 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
