This is an application for expeditious hearing of Ejectment Suit No.32 of 2022 pending before the learned Judge, 12th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that an application under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act as well as one under Order I Rule 10 of the Code of Civil Procedure are pending. He further submits that the hearing of the aforesaid applications before the learned court below is fixed on 9th February, 2024.

In view thereof, CO 3401 of 2023 is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, 12th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to take up the hearing of the aforesaid applications, if the same are otherwise ready for hearing, on the next date fixed i.e. on 9th February, 2024 and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible but preferably by the end of

May, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual formalities.
