The petitioners are aggrieved by the investigation of FIR No. 196 of 2021 dated 11th September, 2021 registered by the Amherst Street Police Station has not been completed till date.

Counsel for the State submits that investigation has been completed and FIR is filed.

In the above circumstances, this Court directs the report in final form may be filed within a period of two weeks from date, if not already filed.

Amherst Street Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. 5.

The report of the Amherst Street Police Station dated 19th October, 2022 in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate be kept with the record.

6.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7.

There will be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
