The petitioner is aggrieved that his application for transfer made sometime in February, 2025 has not yet been considered by the authorities.

Mr. Samim appearing for the petitioner submits that all requisite forms have been duly filled up by the petitioner and submitted with the College authorities, the respondent No.5 herein. It is this authority, who has failed to give the requisite no objection, which is a part of the application for transfer of own seeking-part II.

Mr. Chakraborty appearing for the respondent No.5 submits, on instruction, that his client has no objection and will affix the necessary signatures and seals as and by way of a declaration of no objection and forward the application of the petitioner to the respondent No.2 by January 31, 2026 and ensure that the same is forwarded to the respondent No.2 by the aforestated date.

The respondent No.2 will dispose of the application as expeditiously as possible, by February 20, 2026. The respondent No.2 will communicate his decision on the application of the petitioner by the aforestated date of February 20, 2026 to the petitioner as well as the respondent Nos.3 and 5.

Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied.

6. Since I have not gone into the merits of the case, the issues of transfer and the efficacy and availability thereof are all kept open to be considered by the respondent No.2. 7.

With the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

8. There shall be no order as to costs.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
