Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the contemnor is no longer serving as the Director General, West Bengal Fire and Emergency Services. A new incumbent has been appointed.

Leave has been sought to implead the new incumbent as contemnor.

Leave sought for is allowed.

Learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner is directed to implead the present incumbent as party in the contempt proceeding and serve a copy of the contempt application upon the present incumbent intimating that the contempt application will appear in the list once again on September 1, 2022.

Pendency of the contempt application will not stand in the way of the alleged contemnor to comply the direction passed by this Court.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.
