It is submitted by the learned counsel for the parties that SLP Diary No.30809 of 2024 (The State of West Bengal and Ors. Vs. Sabita Roy) has been dismissed on 12th December, 2024.

In that view of the matter, the petitioner's entitlement is crystallized.

In these circumstances, let PPO be issued to the petitioner on the basis of the PPO issued to her deceased mother and/or father.

It is expected that the DPPG shall comply with the order of this Court within a period of one week from date mandatorily and positively.

The District Inspector of Schools (PE), Purba Medinipur shall render all necessary assistance in
clarification and forwarding of necessary documents to the DPPG, West Bengal without demur and default.

With the aforesaid observations, the contempt application is disposed of.
7.
Personal presence of the alleged contemnors, if any, is dispensed with.
8.
Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.
9.
Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated.
10.
There will be no order as to costs.

This Court directs the Commissioner of School Education to communicate to all the District Inspector of Schools and the DPPG, West Bengal that henceforth there should be no delay in release of family pension and arrears to the widowed daughters, unmarried daughters and divorced daughters of all the employees of the Education Department of the State.

The Registrar General of this Court shall communicate a copy of this order to the Commissioner of School Education.
