The statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure along with the medical examination report of the victim implicates the petitioner in the incident. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials from the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 4999 of 2022 is dismissed.
