By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent nos.3, 4 and 5, to consider the representation of the petitioner as annexure "P-7" of this petition to transfer the petitioner from other District to his Home District i.e., from Jhargram District to Paschim Medinipur on the grounds of distance, District and the present situation of the petitioner.

The petitioner contends that he joined as an Assistant Teacher at Chandabila Primary School on 11th February, 2014. The father of the petitioner is suffering from critical diseases and is

under the treatment of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The petitioner has to travel 43 kilometres everyday to attend his present place of posting. The petitioner made a representation before the respondent authorities on 23rd July, 2025 seeking transfer. However, the same is pending with the authority. Hence, this writ petition.

Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate, for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority to take a decision on the matter of transfer of the petitioner in accordance with law. 5.

In view of the above, the respondent no.3, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 23rd July, 2025 in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondent no.3, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

With the above direction, writ petition, being WPA 23922 of 2025, stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

10. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
