Today the learned advocate representing the applicant submits that the order dated 16th August, 2023 has been complied with.

Three separate affidavits of compliance have been filed today. From paragraph 12 of the affidavit of compliance affirmed by the District Controller (Food and Supplies), South 24 Pgs it appears that an F. P. S. licence has already been issued in favour of the applicant subject to the fate of Mandamus Appeal being MAT 173 of 2024.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands disposed of and the contempt proceedings stand dropped.
