The petitioner was aggrieved by the fact that complaint lodged by him against the private respondents was not acted upon by the police authority.

It appears that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner the police authority held a local enquiry which revealed that there is a long standing land dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. Prosecution under Section 126 of the BNSS has been submitted against the private respondents.

The dispute between the parties appears to be civil in nature. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance. In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil over

the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and to ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
