By presenting this writ petition prayer is made for consolidation of pension in terms of memorandum dated 19th July, 2022 issued by Additional Secretary, Government of West Bengal, Finance Department. On perusal of such memorandum dated 19th July, 2022 it appears that provision has been made for consolidation of pension of those retired employees who come under the purview of W.B.S. (R.O.P.A) Rules, 2019.

In the present case, petitioner is a retired Assistant Teacher of a Government aided secondary school and the service of the petitioner does not attract said memorandum dated 19th July, 2022. Therefore, prayer of the petitioner to consolidate his pension in terms of memorandum dated 19th July, 2022 cannot be allowed.

Hence, writ petition stands dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
