The petitioner and the State are represented through their respective learned Counsel.

With the consent, finally heard.

The parties agreed that this matter may be disposed of by directing the Superintendent of Police, Darjeeling to look into the representation dated September 15, 2025 (Annexure 'P-2').

Considering the aforesaid, this petition filed in the nature of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) is disposed of by directing the petitioner to re-submit his representation dated September 15, 2025 along with copy of this order before the Superintendent of Police, Darjeeling. In turn, it shall be the duty of the concerned Superintendent of Police to look into the representation and ensure that law and order is properly maintained in the area in question. If the said Authority finds that

any action needs to be taken, it shall take action in accordance with law.
