The petitioner had applied for the compounding of the offence under Section 152 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the said application was allowed by the Additional C.E. & Zonal Manager and Compounding Authority, Kolkata Zone on 09.03.2023 through payment of an amount of Rs. 10,000/- for compounding vide Memo No. ZMK/Power Theft/Compounding/422 dated 09.03.2023.

Heard the submissions of the learned advocates for the parties and perused the supplementary affidavit as well as the report filed by the Opposite Party No.2 dated 08.09.2023.

Under such circumstances, the Special Case No. 180 of 2011 dated 14.10.2011 of Baguihati Police Station Case No. 609/11 pending before the Learned 4th Additional District Judge, Barasat is quashed. Accordingly, the instant revisional application is disposed of.
