Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. As the Sub-Divisional Officer, Haldia has granted Puja permission to the present petitioners, police authorities would allow the petitioners to organise the Puja.

So far as usual conditions are concerned, the same be complied with.

The report of the Officer-in-Charge, Durgachak Police Station reflects that structures of two Pujas are at a distance of 30 to 50 metres. Police authorities as well as the two Committees would ensure that at least 100 metres distance is maintained in respect of organising both the Pujas.

So far as other conditions are concerned, it would be the discretion of the local administration and/or the police authorities to impose conditions.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 23528 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
