This is an application for expeditious hearing of Matrimonial Suit No.35 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track CourtII at Barasat. It has been submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that through inadvertence the directions contained in the order dated 17.01.2024 could not be complied with.

On a query of this Court as to whether the petitioner is paying alimony pendente lite, the learned Advocate submits that the petitioner is paying alimony pendente lite regularly and there is no arrears on that account.

In the light of the aforesaid submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner is not a defaulter in payment of alimony pendente lite, C.O. 3418 of 2023 is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court-II at Barasat to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.35 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible without

granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual formalities.
