Petitioner claims to be an Indian citizen and prays for bail. To that effect, petitioner has relied upon certain documents. The case diary which has been produced on behalf of the State reflects that the documents which have been collected in course of the investigation include both documents from Bangladesh Passport Authorities as well as Indian Passport Authorities.

Having considered the questionable nature of citizenship as has been projected by the petitioner and the documents collected by the Investigating Agency in support of the same and the fact that the date for evidence has been fixed before the learned trial court, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, CRM(M) 1812 of 2025 is dismissed. Learned trial court is directed to expedite the process of trial.

Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.
