Commercial quantity of heroin was recovered from this petitioner and another accused person. In view of the commercial quantity of contraband being involved, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail.

CRM (NDPS) 1530 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.

However, considering that the petitioner is in custody for close to one year, we request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the fullest extent possible and conclude the same on an early date.
