When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. Keshab Chandra Das, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the writ petitioner and respondents are not represented today.
Mr. Das submits that the writ petition was filed in the year 2016 in order to prevent illegal pucca construction which was carried on a plot of land being Plot No.241 /J.L. No.65 measuring 22 Satak under MouzaJagjibanpur, Police StationTarakeswar, District-Hooghly.
It has been submitted that, after the writ petition was filed and the notice of the writ petition was served upon the private respondents, the alleged illegal construction was stopped.
In view of the submissions made on behalf of the writ petitioner, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition. The writ petition being WPA No.22567 of 2016 stands disposed of with leave that in future if any such illegal construction is carried out by the private respondents on the aforesaid plot of land, petitioner will be free to take appropriate legal steps, if so advised.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
