Case of the petitioner is that its application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 is pending disposal at the end of the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the materials on record, I dispose of the writ petition by directing the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas, the second respondent herein, to take steps in response to the application made by the petitioner bank under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 and dispose of the same at the earliest but positively within four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
