2. The petitioners seek mutual transfer.

3. Their application seeking transfer is pending consideration before the District Inspector of Schools, (Secondary Education), Purba Medinipur.

4. Without entering into the merits of the said application, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools, (Secondary Education), Purba Medinipur to take a decision in the matter in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. If the application of the petitioners is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authority without any further delay.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
