Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

None appears for the private respondents despite service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the property in question was purchased by the petitioner and the private respondent jointly and they were in possession of the same. Due to dispute and difference between the parties, she is being restrained from entering the property by the private respondent and is being threatened with dire consequences in the event she attempted to enter the same.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the dispute between the parties is civil in nature. This Court concedes to the submission made on behalf of the State and observes that the dispute between the parties is essentially civil in nature. The petitioner is at liberty to take necessary steps before the appropriate civil forum. However, the police authority shall maintain vigil over the area in order to avoid breach of peace and tranquility.

With the aforesaid observation and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
