The medical documents and other papers including the death certificate of the husband of the petitioner have been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner on 14th August, 2025. Today the matter is appearing in the list for recording formal disposal of the writ petition as the relief sought for by the petitioner has been allowed. 2.

If the petitioner finds any discrepancy in the documents handed over, it will be open for the petitioner to take steps for redressal before the competent forum in accordance with law.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the Correctional Home may be directed to release the money earned by her deceased husband while he was undergoing rigorous imprisonment.

It will be open for the petitioner to make appropriate application before the Correctional Home for getting release of the money earned by her husband when in custody. In the event any application is made,

the same shall be disposed of by the authority at the earliest. If any money is found due and payable the same shall be disbursed in accordance with law without any delay.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
