Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The primary allegation of the petitioners is that the police authority is interfering with the business of the petitioners in the garb of rendering assistance and protection. They have directed the petitioners to intimate them whenever the petitioners are taking out material from the factory for maintenance and other purpose. Learned counsel for the private respondents submit that in a civil suit between the parties an order of status quo has been granted in respect of the property in question by the learned civil Court.

Learned counsel for the State submits that since the private parties are warring and civil suits are pending between them the police thought it fit to render assistance to the petitioners for the purpose of maintaining law and order. The parties have not been able to apprise this Court about any direction upon the police authority to render

assistance in the business of the petitioners or intervene thereto. In absence thereof, the police authority is directed not to intervene in the business of the petitioners unless specific complaint is lodged before them by either party. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
