Statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicates the petitioner in the offence of gangrape. Possibility of the victim being won over in the event the petitioner is released on bail cannot be ruled out. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
