Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Complaint Case being 712C of 2019 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, 5th Court, Howrah the matter may be considered without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that plea has been recorded by the learned Trial Court. The matter was sent to the Lok Adalat for amicable settlement, which failed.

In view of pendency of the matter for quite some time, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within six months from the next date fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 4117 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
