1. This is an application filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India at the instance of the defendant with a prayer for expeditious hearing of Title Suit No. 240 of 2014 pending before the Learned 3rd Court, Civil Judge, Junior Division, Paschim Medinipur.

2. The suit has been filed for declaration and injunction and as it appears from the certified copy of the ordersheet that evidence of the plaintiff is going on.

3. It is submitted by the learned advocate that an amendment has been allowed, which is causing delay in disposing of the entire proceeding.

4. However, on a careful perusal of the order-sheet, this Court finds that the matter is pending since 2014.

5. Considering the long pendency, the learned Trial Court is directed to make an endeavour to dispose of the suit at an earliest without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. With the aforesaid observations/directions, the civil revisional application being C.O. 3437 of 2024 is disposed of.

7. No costs.

8. Let a copy of this order be sent down to the learned trial Court.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
