The facts of the case are recorded in the order passed by a coordinate Bench on 16th October, 2023. In terms of the earlier order, the DIG, Border Security Force, South Bengal, Kolkata has filed a report and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that the candidature of the petitioner was withheld as there was a mismatch detected in the biometrics of the petitioner along with several others.

In the backdrop of the above, the respondents have chosen to refer the biometrics and signatures of all 1337 candidates to the CFSL for opinion as regards the mismatch in the biometrics for the candidates as indicated above. The report of the CFSL is awaited. 4.

In these circumstances, this Court directs the Director of the concerned CFSL/FSL to submit their report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The respondents shall thereafter publish the panel of genuine successful candidates, who participated in the aforesaid recruitment process conducted by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the year 2022 to the post of Constable/Rifleman (GD) for the CAPFs.

Needless to mention that if the petitioner's case is found genuine and he succeeds in the recruitment process, due appointment shall be given to him. 7.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
