The writ application has been preferred praying for setting aside of the orders dated 28th November, 2024 under Section 14B and 7Q of the EPF Act and composite notices dated 30.04.2025, 12.08.2025 and 29.08.2025, issued by the Recovery Officer, Howrah. The said orders dated 28.11.2024 were passed on the same day and in a composite hearing.

The orders dated 28.11.2024 being a composite order are appealable, but as there is no regular presiding officer at the CGIT, Kolkata, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioners to prefer an appeal within 30 days from the date of this order.

Period of limitation is extended for 30 days in the interest of justice.

In the absence of a regular presiding officer at CGIT, Kolkata, the impugned orders dated 28th

November, 2024 under Section 14B and 7Q of the EPF Act and composite notices dated 30.04.2025, 12.08.2025 and 29.08.2025, issued by the Recovery Officer, Howrah, be stayed till the stay application before the tribunal is taken up for hearing.

It is further directed that in case no appeal is preferred by the petitioners as per liberty granted, the order of stay shall stand vacated automatically. 6.

WPA 24112 of 2025 is disposed of.

Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

8.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
