Criminal Revisional Jurisdiction 13-10-2023 Subha Item no. 69 Ct no.34 CRR 3743 of 2023 Smt. Sharmistha Saha -versus- Sri Subhasis Pramanick Mr. Subhajit Chowdhury Mr. Sourav Mondal .....for the petitioner.

The present revisional application relates to a proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that as an interim measure, the quantum of maintenance was reduced and the present petitioner wife is suffering because of the reduction of the amount. The trial of the case is still pending. As the revisional application before the learned Sessions Court being Criminal Revision No. 469 of 2022 is pending for more than one year, I direct the learned revisional court to dispose of the revisional application (if not already disposed) by 15th January, 2024.

In case the learned court is of the opinion that more than one date is required for hearing of the said revisional application, the learned sessions court/revisional court would fix as many dates as it thinks fit and proper, but the verdict must be pronounced on 15th January, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 3743 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
